Quality and Organizational Excellence Analyst

Joy Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Emory University and a master’s degree in public health from UNC Gillings with a concentration in health behavior. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Prior to her current position as quality analyst, Joy was the quality coordinator in the Public Health Leadership Program (PHLP) at UNC Gillings where she provided project management for special projects, conducted data collection and analysis, and managed communications within PHLP. She also worked with the Academic Career Leadership Academy in Medicine (ACCLAIM) program which is a cross-disciplinary leadership program for UNC faculty. In addition to quality improvement in healthcare, Joy’s professional interests include education, leadership development, and equity-related work.
