Nina Didner is a fourth-year medical student originally from New York City who is applying into anesthesiology. She worked briefly as a consultant at Deloitte and became interested in quality improvement as a way to expand her skills and beneficially impact patient care and healthcare systems. She is working with Dr. Moe Lim, Associate Chief Medical Officer – Surgical Services, UNC Medical Center on projects evaluating diversity issues in access to surgical care, decreasing patient clinic wait times, and efficiently handling patient messages to improve patient care.
