Communication Plan
A project communication plan is a document outlining what, when, and how information will be shared with stakeholders at key intervals. An effective communication plan addresses the following questions:
- With whom do we need to communicate?
- What do we need them to be motivated to do?
- How might the message be crafted in order to achieve the desired outcome?
- What is the most effective channel to share the message?
The goals of a communication plan are to define and streamline team communications while ensuring relevant stakeholders hear the right message at the right time.
