This brief bedside clinical decision support tool was developed to identify emergency department patients at high risk of persistent posttraumatic stress symptoms three months after a motor vehicle collision. This tool was derived (n=1282, 19 emergency department sites) and validated (n=282, 11 separate emergency department sites) using data obtained from adults prospectively enrolled in the Advancing Understanding of RecOvery afteR traumA (AURORA) Study. Persistent posttraumatic stress was defined as PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 scores ≥ 38. For research purposes only.
