Dr. Gross is a physician scientist specializing in the field of Pediatric Pulmonology.
Dr. Gross’ clinical and research interests focus on infection prevention and control with an emphasis on understanding mechanisms of acquisition and transmission of nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) among people with cystic fibrosis and other susceptible populations. She developed and led the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation-funded Healthcare-Associated Links in Transmission of NTM (HALT NTM) studies. She is the principal investigator of an ongoing trial designed to quantify and analyze healthcare-associated NTM acquisition and person-to-person transmission. Dr. Gross has been an active participant in a variety of multi-investigator CF clinical research studies and have been an active and invested Co-Investigator on over 15 Therapeutic Development Center (TDC) studies.
