Class of 2025 Hooding Ceremony

• Graduates may order regalia (gown, tam or mortarboard, tassel, hood) from the UNC Campus Stores. Link to be posted at a later date.
• No additional paraphernalia (e.g., stoles, pins, decoration of hats, etc.) may be worn beyond any SOM or UNC-issued honor cords.
• Three “hooders” will be appointed by the School of Medicine. Graduates may not request a family member or other loved one to hood them.
• Graduation rehearsal, to be held the week of May 5, is mandatory for all graduates. We will announce the date and time as soon as possible.

Guest Information:

• No tickets will be required for guest entry.
• Clear bag policy (subject to change): Guests may bring a clear plastic bag no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a small clutch purse no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
• Guest parking information will be posted at a later date.
