The Service of Gratitude is an annual ceremony honoring those who have donated their bodies to science for learning – the “Silent Teachers” of medicine. Families and loved ones from across North Carolina and beyond join students to celebrate their lives, reflect on their lasting impact, and honor the profound gift of learning they have given to medical education.
