Anthony J. Mazzella, MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Areas of Interest
Dr. Mazzella’s clinical interests include catheter ablation of supraventricular and ventricular cardiac arrhythmias, implantation of cardiac implanted electronic devices, and conduction system pacing. Dr. Mazzella’s research interests are grounded in cardiovascular device data research, utilizing the combination of various data sources to provide new insights that can positively impact patients with heart rhythm disorders and other cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Mazzella also enjoys active participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
About
My interests in clinical medicine relate to the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders using the latest techniques in catheter ablation and cardiac device implantation. I also have interest in educating medical learners about cardiology and particularly electrophysiology concepts and ECG interpretation. It is my hope to contribute meaningfully to lives of patients with heart rhythm disorders using state-of-the art technologies, and to further the field of electrophysiology through research using high quality and granular cardiac implanted electronic device data in large populations of patients.
