Medicine Grand Rounds, Timothy Ives “Medical Uses of Cannabinoids”

This presentation will cover the current medical uses of cannabinoids, such as those found in marijuana or hemp products. The action of these agents, as well as a review the evidence-based literature for their use for common medical conditions will also be provided.

Dr. Timothy Ives is the Director of Pain Management Service, Division of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology, Professor of Medicine and Professor of Pharmacy. His research interests are in the area of inflammation and chronic pain management, with neuropathic pain in particular.
