Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Natalie Grover presents “An Internist’s Guide to Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell”

Dr. Natalie Grover is an assistant professor in the division of hematology and clinical director of the cellular therapy program at the UNC School of Medicine. She received her MD from Case Western Reserve University. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia and her hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her primary clinical and research interest is in novel therapies for the treatment of lymphoma, particularly chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. She leads several CAR-T cell clinical trials in lymphoma and collaborates with translational researchers to bring these novel therapies to the clinic. She is interested in innovative approaches to improve the efficacy and safety of CAR-T cell therapy as well as investigations of why some patients progress after treatment. She is also involved in multi-center clinical trials and research collaborations with the goal of improving treatment options and quality of life for patients with lymphoma.
