Medicine Grand Rounds- Dr. Sarah McGill presents: “Irritable Bowel Syndrome from a Tick? Understanding Gastrointestinal Alpha-gal Syndrome”

Sarah McGIll, MD MSc is a gastroenterologist, endoscopist, and researcher at UNC. Her interests include gastrointestinal manifestation of the alpha-gal syndrome, innovations in colorectal cancer screening and fecal microbiota transplant. In 2020 she published the first description of gastrointestinal-isolated alpha-gal syndrome in the GI literature. Dr. McGill is a North Carolina native and a graduate of UNC, Duke, and Stanford.
