Kimberly Blumenthal, MD, MSc is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, the Quality and Safety Officer for Allergy at Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Co-Director of the Clinical Epidemiology Program in the Division of Rheumatology Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Blumenthal has clinical and research expertise in drug allergy, and specific interest in antibiotic allergies. She is recognized nationally for having created innovative approaches to the evaluation of penicillin and cephalosporin antibiotic allergies in the hospital. Dr. Blumenthal graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Economics (2002). She studied medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, which she completed in 2009, before training at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology.
