About
Dr. Williams’ areas of focus include academic hospital medicine with an interest in hospitalized patient safety and quality improvement via efforts on the medication safety committee, internal medicine rapid response review group and hospitalist leadership council. She is also invested in resident education and support as the associate program director of the internal medicine and pediatrics residency program. As the medical director of the NC Children’s Hospital short-stay unit, Dr. Williams’ works to ensure pediatric patients who are undergoing procedures, receiving infusions or specialized testing are provided the highest quality care.
