About
Dr. Reyes’ ambition is to use her formal training in public policy, public health, clinical medicine, and medical education to teach and provide compassionate, accessible, excellent clinical care for patients in need around the globe. She is active in medical student education, professional development for residents, and mentorship for students and resident trainees pursuing global health experiences and projects. She is a co-Investigator on several research grants based at her partnership site in Uganda, primarily focused on malaria and expanding access to health care in rural areas. Dr. Reyes co-founded a non-governmental organization in Uganda that supports healthcare and economic development activities in the region.
