Heart disease does not stop during a pandemic. On May 13, the UNC Health Foundation hosted a webinar featuring four division cardiologists in a panel discussion called “What COVID-19 means for the cardiac patient.”
Joseph Rossi, MD, Anil Gehi, MD, John Vavalle, MD, and Paula Miller, MD, participated in a one hour Zoom meeting to discuss how the division and UNC Health system is handling the COVID pandemic, and the measures in place to protect patients. Panelists answered pre-submitted questions from guests who joined them from across the state. Over 35 current and former patients participated.
