Alison Hollis, MD
About
Alison grew up in Concord, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina for college where she majored in Biology and also had minors in Chemistry and Medical Anthropology. Alison has been actively involved in research and service while a medical student at UNC and for the past year has worked as a research fellow at UNC. Her work has included projects involving autoimmune skin diseases as well as coordinating CAAR-T clinical trials. She has been involved in multiple medical education projects at UNC and founded the Learning in Leadership at Carolina, a program for women in medicine. In recognition of her outstanding performance as a student, she was inducted into the AOA Honor Society. Alison enjoys baking, wheel throwing and pottery, and anything outdoors.
