About

Angel is from Puerto Rico and attended the University of Puerto Rico and Ponce University for a degree in biology and a BS in medicine before medical school. Angel has been actively involved as a medical student serving as a representative for the school of medicine curriculum and as president of the school’s AMSA chapter. In recognition of his outstanding performance, Angel was inducted into the AOA Honor Society.  In his free time, Angel enjoys exercise, weight training, and is a certified personal trainer.
