About
Anna is from Greensboro, North Carolina and attended William and Mary where she majored in Biology. After college, she worked at the NIH for 2 years studying mouse menstrual cycles. She was extremely active in medical school as a Comprehensive Advanced Medical Program of Spanish (CAMPOS) graduate, Pediatric Medical Student Chief, gender affirming care peer coordinator at SHAC, and volunteer at the UNC Campus Garden. She worked to improve health equity in kidney care throughout medical school, combining her interest in Nephrology with her Spanish language skills. In her free time, Anna is an endurance athlete who enjoys extended backpacking hikes, running, hiking, paddling and pickleball. She’s working on disc golf and also enjoys thrifting, games nights, and new cooking projects!
