About

Brian grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended Davidson College (go ‘Cats!) where he majored in History. After college, Brian worked with the Carolinas Hospice Program in Greensboro as a research assistant and outreach coordinator. As a medical student at UNC, Brian has been actively involved in research, including work to evaluate the effects of aging on clinical outcomes in patients receiving genotype driven PZY12 inhibitor selection after PCI and a tech-based weight management intervention in older adults. Brian has been actively involved with the SNMA, served as the VP for the Graham research society, and worked as the Director for care management for the SHAC student clinic. In recognition of his outstanding compassion and clinical skills, Brian was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Brian’s interests include ASL, history, and birdwatching.
