About

Carrie grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Princeton University where she majored in Spanish and Portuguese and minored in neuroscience and Latin American studies, all while also playing on the varsity Field Hockey team!  After college, Carrie worked as a research assistant in Singapore before returning to complete a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania. Carrie’s volunteer works have included serving as a Field Hockey coach, working as a clinical skills instructor, serving as a group facilitator for Geriatric Oncology, and founding a telemedicine student interest group. Carrie is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and enjoys skiing, backpacking, and kayaking.
