About

Emily is originally from Maryland and attended Vassar College where she majored in both psychiatry and chemistry and also played on the D1 varsity lacrosse team. Emily has served as the president of her school’s Jewish Medical Student Association, the secretary for the Women in Medicine student group, and as a member of the Education Leadership Academy.  In recognition of her outstanding clinical skills and compassion, Emily was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society where she has also served as the chapter’s president. Emily completed an AI on our Hematology service and we are looking forward to having her back at UNC!
