After graduating from Rollins College with a degree in Biology, Erin went to Baylor where she completed a two-year MBA with a focus on Healthcare administration. As an MBA student, she worked as an Administrative resident for a healthcare system, assisting with projects that included budget review and the development of a community paramedic program. After graduation from Baylor, she worked as an Operations Analyst for Tenet Healthcare, developing and maintaining reports for Tenet’s corporate wide hospital operational metrics including quality outcomes, process improvement targets, and financial savings. She later worked as a Transition Coordinator and Provider Relations Representative for Children’s Health in Dallas. Erin’s role as a Transition Coordinator focused on population health and multidisciplinary work and gave her insight into the challenges of care continuity and barriers that patients face in accessing healthcare. As a medical student at Texas A&M, she has continued to focus on healthcare administration and co-founded the Business in Medicine Interest Group for the school. Erin enjoys board games and Nintendo Switch, reading, and hiking in her spare time and is looking forward to joining family in North Carolina.
