Evan Woods, MD
About
Evan grew up in the DC area, but both of his parents attended UNC for college! Evan attended William and Mary for college where he was on the D1 cross country and track team for all four years. After college, he worked as a medical assistant for a surgery clinic in Maryland before coming to Drexel. As a medical student, he has served as a mentor (working with first generation college students who are applying to medical school) and volunteered with the Hope Rescue Mission for men who are homeless. With an interest in preventive medicine and working with the underserved, he helped to create an urban gardening cookbook. Evan is also interested in wilderness medicine and has worked as an EMT and founded the Nature Therapy group at Drexel. Evan continues to have an interest in running, coaching, and diet and healthcare accessibility.
