About

Joyce is from Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for college where she majored in Pharmacy Science and also obtained a minor in creative writing.  From there, she went on to complete her PharmD training at OSU and then worked for a year as a clinical research assistant before medical school.  Throughout graduate school and medical school, she has served multiple leadership roles including as the president of her PharmD class for four years as well as the President of the Interprofessional Education Student Council. In recognition of her outstanding clinical work and professionalism, Joyce was inducted into the AOA Honor Society.  In her free time, she enjoys running and hiking (including making it to Angel’s Landing in Utah!).
