Kane Banner, MD, MHS
About
Kane grew up in North Carolina and played Football at Duke University where he majored in Anthropology. After college, he conducted research at Duke and UNC, primarily focused in Cardiology. Kane has lived a life of service, working to be a mentor and leader in the community. He founded the 325 Program, a mentoring program that partners with at risk High School students and also served as a mentor for the “My Community’s Keeper” program with at risk 7–18-year-old kids. Kane also serves on his SNMA chapter’s executive board. At this point, Kane is most interested in Cardiology, specifically thinking of ways to focus early care to underserved areas across our state.
