About

Lauren is from Virginia and attended Duke University for college where she graduated with a degree in Biology.  After college, Lauren worked at the Duke Pediatrics Health Lifestyles Bull City as the Fit director of the Child Obesity treatment clinic and also volunteered at the Durham Nursing and Rehabilitation center. Lauren has been actively engaged as a medical student at UNC with work as a mentor and tutor, assistant for the PCC course, serving as a chief advocate for the Foundation Phase with the UNC SOM student government, and working with the CAMPOS program to become proficient in Spanish. Lauren will be pursuing a residency in PMR after her preliminary year.  In her free time, Lauren loves running , gardening, and bird watching.
