About

Lauren is from Cary, North Carolina and studied Biology at the University of North Carolina. She has a passion for teaching and mentorship, and was selected to participate in the UNC Medical Education Scholarly Concentration, completing a capstone project focused on curriculum development. For her third-year clinical rotations, Lauren relocated to Asheville, NC where she gained valuable experience following patients in a longitudinal program while cultivating her skills in communication, teamwork, and compassion. She enjoys tennis, basketball, hiking, houseplant caretaking, and reading fiction novels!
