Michael Rudloff, MD, PhD
About
Michael is from Virginia and attended James Madison University where he majored in Biology and Biochemistry. After college, Michael worked for two years with the NIH after receiving a Cancer research award, focusing on CRISPR technology and the role of mesothelin and pancreatic cancers. Michael’s PhD work has focused on Molecular Biology and tumor immunology with work to identify when CD8+ T cells lose function in tumors. He continues to serve as a research mentor and teacher to more junior trainees. He has also been active as a member of the curriculum committee, the wellness committee, and the MSTP annual retreat planning committee. Michael plans to pursue training as a physician scientist in the field of Oncology. In his free time, Michael is the proud father to two young children who keep him grounded and busy!
