Morgan Duerden graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She then worked in Texas as a Multi-Media Journalist for an ABC-affiliated TV station, where she gained experience interviewing medical experts on COVID-19 updates, covering local and state legislation, and showcasing the unique personalities of the Texas Panhandle.

Morgan earned a Master’s in Digital Communication from the University of North Carolina in December of 2025.

Skilled in videography, digital media management, and aligning communication strategies with organizational goals, Morgan’s true passion lies in writing and storytelling. Outside of work, she enjoys walking local trails, playing pickleball, and soaking up the sunshine that North Carolina often offers.
