Nonye grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and attended the University of Virginia for college where she majored in Psychology. She worked as a CNA previously, as well as a med peds clinic scribe! As a Health System Transformation and Leaders in Innovative Care Distinction Track she designed and implemented a longitudinal quality improvement project aimed at increasing compliance rates of vaccinations for adolescents on Medicaid at a local health care clinic. In her free time, Nonye is an amateur barista, part time botanist, digital artist, baker, movie critic, outdoors enthusiast, and travel aficionado!
