Pedro Escobar Diaz, MD
About
Pedro is originally from Mexico and came to the United States at the age of 7 and grew up in Georgia. Pedro obtained a degree in nursing and worked as a nurse before deciding to attend medical school. As a medical student, Pedro has served as a mentor, speaker, student representative for the school’s LCME site visit, president of the school’s LMSA chapter, and has worked as a lead coordinator for the Distinction in Service to the Community program. As a medical student, Pedro continued to work as a nurse in the Emergency Department. In his “spare” time he is a proud father to 3 children under the age of 10!
