About

Pranalee grew up in Illinois and attended Duke University where she graduated with a degree in Pharmacology and Global Health.  After college, she worked for a year as a research assistant with the Duke Department of Surgery examining the molecular mechanism of cancer spread. As a medical student, Pranalee has been actively involved in not only research but also work with the AMSA, Geriatric Oncology, as a clinical skills instructor and peer tutor, and with volunteer work with the Lincoln health center. Pranalee enjoys vegan cooking and is looking forward to staying in the area with her fiancée who is currently an Internal Medicine resident at Duke before beginning her advanced residency in Radiation Oncology.
