She is from Pennsylvania and joins us from Louisville! She chose UNC for residency training because of all of the clinical, global health, research, and innovation opportunities the UNC Med-Peds program provides. She really enjoyed her interview day and felt UNC Med-Peds would support her in her career aspirations and provide her with wonderful overall training for the next four years.

Fun facts: In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading (all genres from New York Times bestsellers to non-fiction, bio-tech profiles), running outdoors, cooking and trying new foods. She also likes going to the symphony and ballet (annual Nutcracker enthusiast), spoiling her cat, Baloo, and dog, Kodie, and traveling. She particularly loves the Outer Banks and is very excited to be within driving distance from the ocean again.
