Schuyler Bain, MD, MTS
About
After graduating from UNC, Schuyler served as a campus minister at UNC for three years before deciding to return to the classroom to pursue a medical career. As a medical student, Schuyler was accepted into the Theology, Medicine, and Culture Fellowship program at Duke and received a Master of Theological Studies. With an interest in Cardiology, he has also actively worked on several research projects with the SUDDEN Cardiology group to better understand the social risk factors for sudden cardiac death and heart failure. In recognition of his outstanding commitment to patient care, Schuyler was selected by his peers for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
