Congratulations to Danielle Buglak, Ph.D., a Cell Biology and Physiology alumnae graduate student, formerly in the Bautch Lab, for publishing article, titled “Nuclear SUN1 stabilizes endothelial cell junctions via microtubules to regulate blood vessel formation”, in eLife magazine.
The work is a beautiful study of how a nuclear-membrane localized protein affects endothelial cell junctions and vessel function far from the nucleus. And yes, getting over the finish line takes a village – thanks to all contributors! It was featured in the March 29, 2023 issue of eLife and can be read online now.
