UNC School of Medicine Pathology and Laboratory MedicineThe grant, titled, “Do endothelial lipid droplets buffer the kinetics of lipid transport?”, is a 1-year grant. SPLENDOR-NC draws upon well-established collaborations through their NIDDK-funded UNC Nutrition Obesity Research Center and their NIDDK-funded North Carolina Diabetes Research Center. They leverage the strong partnerships between Duke University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Wake Forest University, and Winston-Salem State University, and to facilitate the success of diverse faculty engaged in research in the fields of nutrition, obesity, and diabetes.
