Taylor, Ph.D., Professor and Vice Chair for Research, Department of Pathology, for publishing article on how engulfment and cell motility protein 1 potentiates diabetic cardiomyopathy via Rac-dependent and Rac-independent ROS production in the journal JCI Insight. We are very proud of Drs. Bahnson & Taylor’s collaboration with Drs. Masao Kakoki and Nobuyo Maeda, as well as the late Dr. Oliver Smithies, on how ELMO1 promotes NOX-derived #ROS leading to exacerbation of diabetic cardiomyopathy in mice.
