Congratulations to Hannah Wiedner, a GMB graduate student in Dr. Jimena Giudice’s lab, for recently receiving a prestigious Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) provides stipend support for three years. Hannah’s project focuses on understanding alternative splicing regulation. Specifically, Hannah is investigating how histone modifications contribute to splicing transitions during striated muscle development.
