Kathleen Caron, Chris Mack, and Joan Taylor are recipients of the inaugural Excellence in Basic Science Mentoring Award from the Office of Graduate Education.This new award recognizes these faculty members’ dedication to graduate training. Faculty were nominated by current and former students. Faculty members also submitted letters of support, and a committee of graduate education staff, students, and student services managers reviewed the nominations. The awards will be conferred on January 15.
