Brigitte Allard

Brigitte Allard earned her BS in Microbiology, Certificate in Genetic Engineering and MS in Cellular and Molecular Biology at University Laval, Quebec City, Canada. She implemented Molecular Biology techniques at the Great Burn Center (now LOEX) in Quebec, before moving to Montreal where she contributed to HIV research at Biochem Pharma. After a stretch in digestive disease/gastroenterology, she has returned to HIV research with the Margolis Lab Pheresis Team. Her efforts contribute to a better understanding of the role of HDACs in reactivation of quiescent proviral HIV.
