Noelle received both her BS and MS in Biology from Villanova University. She worked at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, in Hershey, PA as a Jr. Research Technician for 3 years before taking a position at Merck and Co., Inc. in West Point, PA. Noelle worked in Laboratory Animal Resources as a Veterinary Associate at Merck for 8 1/2 years before moving to North Carolina. She joined the Margolis lab in November of 2009 and is currently the lab manager.

Noelle’s primary project in the Margolis lab involves the use novel reagents to target the HIV-1 LTR of latently infected resting CD4+ T-cells isolated from HIV positive patients. Another of her projects focuses on the use of gold nanoparticles for drug delivery.
