Consistent with the School of Medicine’s mission to improve the health and well being of North Carolinians and others through leadership and excellence in the interrelated areas of patient care, education, and research, OPSCA supports and assists the School of Medicine’s Departments and Centers with facilitating affiliation agreements and service contracts with external entities. OPSCA is responsible for ensuring that all such contracts comply with University policies, laws, and regulations, protect the University against unnecessary risk, and advance the School of Medicine’s business and operational interests.
The Office of Professional Service Contracts and Affiliations (OPSCA) is an administrative office within the Dean’s Office of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. OPSCA finalizes hundreds of affiliation agreements and service contracts each year, which support the School of Medicine’s mission of providing leadership and service in the interrelated areas of patient care, research, and education.
