Emily Vander Schaaf, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, has been awarded the Academic Pediatric Association Public Policy and Advocacy Developing Award. The APA Public Policy and Advocacy Developing Award recognizes an individual whose public policy advocacy efforts at the state, regional, national, or international level have improved the health and well-being of infants, children, and/or adolescents. In recognition of this achievement, Dr. Vander Schaaf will be highlighted at 2024 Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting (May 2-4, 2024) in Toronto, Canada in the APA Membership Meeting.
