Matthew Foglia, MD, PhD

Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Dr. Foglia joined the Department of Pediatrics as faculty on August 1, 2025. Dr. Foglia received his BA in Molecular Biology in 2009 from Princeton University. He earned his medical degree and a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology in 2018 at Duke University. He completed his pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2021. He completed a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship and subsequently a Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship at Duke University Hospital in 2025.
