Research
Dr. Kasow’s clinical research interest is hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) for sickle cell disease and late effects following HCT. She in the Principal Investigator of a multi-center study evaluating the safety and efficacy of using a reduced intensity conditioning regimen in children with varying severity and genotype who are receiving a matched sibling donor bone marrow transplant.
She also serves as the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program’s Marrow Collection Medical Director and the Associate Director of Quality Initiatives.
