Dr. Hochhalter is a fellow in the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.

Why UNC: I chose UNC because everyone is sincere and honest. At its core, this fosters a collaborative team of people that I truly enjoy working with and can trust. On top of that, people are driven and genuinely want others to succeed. This results in all of us working harder together towards a better future for UNC, for the people who work here, and most importantly, for the patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy trying to find an end to my son’s endless energy by hiking, walking, exploring new parks, splash pads, and swimming. Also enjoy video games, board games, dungeons and dragons, smoked meats and BBQing.
