Dr. Van Steyn is a fellow in the Pediatric Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program.

Why UNC: I love the high level of acuity the unit provides and focus on early independence as the leader of the team. I am also excited for the opportunity to work with strong research mentors in global health while pursuing the MPH during my fellowship period.

In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, backpacking, reading and spending time with my husband and three dogs.
