2012 International Pediatric Nephrology Fellows Conference

Call for Abstracts and Program

Dear Nephrology Fellowship Program Directors,

It is our pleasure to announce the 2012 Annual Pediatric Nephrology Senior Fellows Conference to take place on January the 24th, 2012 in association with the 14th Annual Renal Research Institute International (RRI) Advances in CKD Conference (Jan. 25th to 27th, 2011), in Tarpon Springs, FL.

To be eligible for a travel scholarship, pediatric fellows are required to:

a) 1. Accept a 4-day commitment to attend both: the Pediatric Nephrology Program (Jan 24th) and the RRI Conference meeting (Jan 25th to the 27th) plus travel time.

b) 2. Obtain a letter confirming fellowship status and endorsement for attendance to both programs by their fellowship program director.

c) 3. Submit an original first author abstract by September 15, 2011 that relates to issues seen in children, adolescents and /or emerging adults with CKD (Maximum 3000 characters including spaces, title, authors, and affiliations). This abstract could describe one of the following:

1) Original research

2) Illustrative case series

3) Case report with defined contribution to patient care or research directions

4) Continuous quality assurance project (design and/or outcome)
