Instructions for Fellows

To be eligible for a travel grant, pediatric fellows are required to complete the following three steps:

  1. Agree to a 5-day commitment to attend both the Pediatric Nephrology Fellows Conference (Jan 18-19, 2016) and the RRI Conference (Jan 20-22, 2016). *Mandatory attendance at both programs is required to qualify for travel/program grant.*
  2. Obtain a letter confirming fellowship status and endorsement for attendance to all programs by their fellowship program director. Program directors must e-mail a letter of recommendation to Kristi Bickford at Kristi_Bickford@med.unc.edu by September 18, 2015.
  3. Submit an original first author abstract* by September 18, 2015 (maximum 250 words, independent of title and authors) here.

    *Abstract category suggestions:

  1. Original research
  2. Illustrative case series
  3. Continuous quality assurance project (design and/or outcome)
  4. Case report with defined contribution to patient care or research
