The last six months has been a period of enormous growth and activity for the Center. Over the summer, the Center has established a new STEP clinic and an ACT team in Wake County, allowing the Center to significantly expand its clinical care mission.

We appreciate the confidence that Wake County and Alliance Behavior Healthcare had in our programs in contracting with us, and we will work hard to serve our new patients well.

The Center has also established a new Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Technical Assistance Center in partnership with the state’s Department of Health and Human Resources which will support high quality ACT services across the State.

The state mental health system continues to evolve, and in the midst of this change, the Center will keep its focus on quality care, strong training, and innovative approaches that will help improve mental health care for all of North Carolina.
